Today 3 Year 8 students visited our class to share their research and writing about the history behind nursery rhymes. We were very impressed with their level of understanding.
Thanks guys!
We are a class of 26 Year 3 and 4 students at Twizel Area School. Twizel is a small town surrounded by tussocks and mountains. We are the closest town to Aoraki Mount Cook.

Estelle's Diary Entry
This is Estelle's diary entry for today:
Today is Wednesday. We had Mrs Nelson for the whole day. We did maths, writing and general knowledge quiz. For maths we practiced decimals and fractions. For writing we started to grow an idea about our house stories. And also Mr Potter talked about an exoskelton and cicadas. I had a tino pai day.
Tino Pai Estelle - this is a great diary entry. I hope you have a good afternoon too.

George and the Dragon - we did it!
SHOW-TIME WAS SUPERB!
Congratulations to all involved!
In the last week of Term Two our school performed the wonderful show George and the Dragon, written by our Deputy Principal Neil Potter.
Congratulations to all involved!
Congratulations to the cast, chorus, junior classes, and everyone involved.
Room 4 were peasants in a couple of scenes, and were evil characters in another scene. We also created the food for the banquet.
We did four shows: a pantomine, and 3 evening shows. Our community was very proud of their school.
Twizel Area School is awesome!
